ATV Disclaimer & Safety Information
Riding an ATV can be dangerous. To ensure your safety proper protective gear should be always be
worn. Remember to always wear a helmet, eye protection and protective clothing. Never ride on a paved
surface or public roads. Never carry passengers unless the ATV is specifically engineered to
accommodate them. Riding at excessive speeds or engaging in stunt riding is extremely dangerous. Be
extremely careful on difficult or unknown terrain. Never ride while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
When riding an ATV always stay on established trails in approved areas. Keep your riding areas clean
and respect the rights of others. Always obtain permission before riding on private lands, and obey all
the laws and regulations governing your riding areas.

Read and understand warnings and owner's manual before operation. Severe injury or death can
result from ignoring warnings or improper use.
Operator only. Never carry passengers under any circumstances; doing so reduces stability and
control, and is therefore dangerous. Vehicle is rider active; operator needs use of entire seat.
Off-Road use only, always avoid paved surfaces. Pavement may seriously effect handling and
control.
Hill climbing is dangerous and should be attempted only by experienced operators. Start on shallow
slopes and practice procedures described in owners manual before trying steeper terrain. Some
hills are too steep to safely stop or recover from an unsuccessful climbing attempt. If vehicle slides
backwards down hill, apply brakes with gradual, even pressure to avoid flipover. Sudden or
overly-aggressive use of brakes going forward downhill could cause a forward flipover.
Reverse operation can be dangerous even at low speeds. Steering control becomes difficult. When
backing up, apply brakes carefully; aggressive braking may result in a flipover. Avoid backing
downhill.
Use override for reverse speed limiter with caution, it allows full engine power and can result in
excessive speeds. Never activate override button while throttle is open, as loss of control may result.
Park brake may relax when used for long periods of time. When parking on grades, leave the gear
shift in forward, block the wheels on the downside, and don't leave the brake engaged for more
than five minutes.
Vehicle designed mainly for warm weather use. Throttle linkage and breaks may stick if operated in
freezing weather, causing loss of control. Check both frequently.
Always wear a helmet, eye protection, boots and gloves.
Excessive speed is dangerous, limiting reaction time needed for proper vehicle control, especially
on rough or unfamiliar terrain.
Never use alcohol or drugs before or while operating an ATV. They slow reaction time and impair
judgement.
To reduce flipover risk, be especially careful when encountering obstacles and slopes, when
braking on hills or during turns.
Keep feet on footrests at all times.
High speeds, jumps and trick maneuvers are dangerous and could result in loss of control and
other accidents.
Engine shut off switch is available for use in the event of throttle failure or other emergency when
engine shut off is desired.
Read all additional warnings and instructions in owner's manual before operating your ATV.
